  1. Hi Mr. Oxbow, There is something magical about the nite b4 “cat-mas”. May I recount a non-feline story…
Many years ago I “got a brainstorm”…the thought arrived in my noggin about acting out the various scenes in “Twas the nite…” My sister and brother in law always invited his family and our family (both large…quite large)…
I knew there would be lots of children, bored like crazy teen agers, and older folks too.
I presented the idea to those in attendance that first evening and the answer was a resounding YES! so for 12 consecutive years we had our annual play complete with red noses for the “reindeer”, pots and pans and spoons for the “clatter” and sugar plums dancing overhead of the children and of course, poppa in his cap and momma nearby and all sorts of joy and mayhem for everyone! The adults felt like kids again, the kids felt like kids all excited, and the “big guy” in the red suit appeared with a bag full of toys to close out the show!
It is indeed, my all time favorite “cat-mas” memory and for all those who were there as well!
