Yes, it’s that time of year again, when suddenly the mailbox is full of cards … cards from friends present and past, cards from people you don’t even know or wish you didn’t. OK, OK, I know I sound like the Grinch. It’s just that receiving a card usually means you’re expected to give one, too, and that can definitely become a chore, especially when you don’t have opposable thumbs! And then have you ever noticed that just when you think you’re done, and you’re patting yourself on the back for getting them out in time, more arrive from unexpected sources and you have to go buy more cards?
Just the thought of it all is enough to make me want to sleep through the holiday. And I probably will, so don’t be disappointed if you don’t receive a card from me.

Lol…hilarious! And so true!

Dear Mr. Oxbow,
long ago, I chose to forgo sending xmas cards. I prefer to send a donation to various charities. This year is a particularly difficult one for felines, families and friends alike. We all are being challenged in some way or another. I know you as well as I am grateful for the blessings I have and so do you.
