Stranger than fiction …

Have you ever experienced something so unbelievable that you’ve been afraid to share your story with others? Well that’s how I feel about today’s post. But here goes …

There have been a lot of Scrabble games in our house lately. A couple of weeks ago Those Two were playing at the bar, during Happy Hour, and I decided to blow their minds. For the record, that’s not too difficult to do.

As you know, there are two sides to every story. Well this story not only has two sides, but photos of each side. First up is Mama G’s. She was studying the board early into the game when I leaped up there, because I can.

First a tail, then a tale.

She was thinking I was going to ruin the game before it really had a chance to get started, but then was impressed with my dexterity. I hadn’t moved a tile so much as a hair! She snapped a photo before I moved over to Mama C’s side of the board.

Then Mama G heard Mama C exclaim, “You won’t believe this!” Mama C promptly grabbed her phone and took a photo, though she couldn’t share it with Mama G for a few more turns, for obvious reasons.

I decide to help Mama C by pointing out the obvious.

So that’s my story, and you can believe it or not.

  1. Dear Mr. Oxbow,
There are no accidents, no bizarre happenings, only amazing synchronicities! You energy and the scrabble letters aligned and fell into the hands of Mama C when you appeared. You might call it
“divine intervention.” Felines have incredible powers and sensitivities…You my dear Mr. Oxbow are magic itself.
