Humans are funny. One of the many things that intrigues me about them is their collection of curious sayings. For instance, I’ve often heard them say, “I’d love to be a fly on the wall!” Sorry, but I don’t get it. I’ve been staring at this guy for hours, and I just don’t see the attraction.

Dear Mr. Oxbow, I agree that humans really are at times, “odd fellows”….There have been lots of curious sayings that have filtered through the lexicon. They have become embedded in our everyday speech. Some of these sayings really don’t make much sense to us humans as well as felines. However, in your case, there really was a fly on the wall…hmmmmm….what was he privy to?????
