I must apologize to my loyal fans (Hi Babs!), because I haven’t been posting much lately. You see, I’m a cat, and we put the “laze” in “lazey.” What, it’s not spelled that way? That doesn’t make any sense!
Anyway, there are other factors that could account for my recent lack of productivity. In case you haven’t noticed, it’s summer, and when it gets hot, I just shut down.
Mama G also recently shared an article with me about traits orange cats are known for. Yup, you guessed it, laziness is among them! Apparently we are even lazier than the average cat, and it doesn’t get much lazier than that.
I’ve set the bar so low, I have become the bar!

Luv the postings of your adventures and misadventures. I look forward to your pithy comments. As for your perceived lack of productivity, may I remind you that all felines are specifically assigned the task of reminding us two legged humans to SLOW DOWN and take a snooze once in a while. By the way, the world is speeding up…not slowing down (actual scientific fact) ! yes, America runs on Dunkin, but also on myriad choices to distract one’s attention like mindless tv shows and mindless activities like going to the mall to acquire this and that.
It is your sacred duty to remind your Mamas to take a little down time and stretch out and restore the mind and body. No wonder felines are so astute ! You are a shining example of what it means to take life in the slow lane once in a while… BTW, I love the photo of you relaxing on top of the couch. Luv the outstretched paw with the little pink pads….so darned adorable.
Please ask your Mamas to put ear muffs on you to somewhat subdue the absurd noise of fireworks and such during this most unpleasant time of year.
