A selfie-improvement tip

Don’t move! Yes, that would be my one tip. When you hear the shutter click, just stay still. As you can see here, I’m a bit of a blur. Come to think of it, much of my life has been a blur. Sometimes it’s just the way things are. It looks like I was trying to scoot out and escape, although my memory of the event is a bit hazy.

Anyway, my mamas were awfully impressed during their recent vacation when they received this photo, courtesy of my new pet sitter, Julie, at right, and her daughter Reagan. Just the mere fact that I was even out and about was pretty impressive to Those Two! I guess I’ve set a pretty low bar with my social skills with strangers.

I’m going to try to do better in the future.

  1. Dear Mr. Oxbow,
Aren’t you fortunate to have two pet sitters! Wow….and that they think you are so handsome that they wanted to create an image of you and them together! I’m sure it was quite an achievement for them to even get you on the couch! I do know that sometimes you get overwhelmed by skittishness which is understandable. My feline friends require a really long time to assess humanoids in their midst. That is what makes felines so amazing…once they approve of you…amazing things can happen. Just like this photo!
