Well I promised to write again and let you know how the new digs were working out, so here’s the story.
After those first few rocky days, when I cried a lot, I settled in pretty well. Especially in that bean bag chair, which Those Two used to have covered with a blanket so I wouldn’t shred it. It’s much more comfortable without that blanket, and I have it tailored to fit my body now. I think they can pretty much forget about using it!

It’s my favorite spot in the house now, and I spend hours, sometimes entire days there. I have a great view of the backyard from it, and the other day I had a visitor come by. She didn’t seem all that interested in me, but maybe that’s because she knew I was trapped behind glass and unavailable.

I felt like the new kid on the block when the other kids stop by to check out who just moved in!
Having a change of scenery has done us all some good, I think. Sometimes our lives can become a little too predictable and stagnant if we don’t get up and move and try new things.
OK, back to the bean bag now …
Dear Mr. Oxbow, I was thrilled to receive a notification of your blog today. I am so happy to read that you and your Mamas are getting settled in. Speaking of “settled”…you look quite comfy perched in that bean bag chair. Looks like that might be your new spot to relax, unwind and take a snooze or two. As for your visitor…who knows what or whom might stop by to say hello. I am sure you will observe with interest all of the critters and wildlife your neighborhood has to offer. I look forward to future postings of your observations from the comfort of your soft, squishy chair.
