Oops, I almost forgot: I promised you something today, didn’t I? Funny how the time slips by!
Anyway, I mentioned rain yesterday, which of course makes me think of storms. Although I’ve recently made strides in overcoming some of my social shyness, I have definitely not overcome my fear of storms. And there have been a lot of them this summer!
Fortunately, my loving Grandma C is working on a cure for my fear. She’s making me a thundershirt, not to be confused with the copyrighted ThunderShirt. Yes, this is clearly a shirt born of Yankee ingenuity and thriftiness, as shown by the comic strip “pattern” Those Two attempted to try on me recently. I wasn’t sure which was worse at that point, the thunder or the shirt! But I have a feeling it’s all going to be good in the end.
It’s awfully sweet of my grammy to try to help me, and I’ll keep you posted on the progress of this project.

Dear Mr. Oxbow, brilliantly written blog entry! Please keep us informed of how the “thunder shirt” it’s coming along. There are a lot of people who love you and want to make you a happy and comfortable feline master of the home. I realize that it is incredibly difficult to get adjusted to new things in our lives whether we are the two-legged variety or the four-legged kind. Almost all of us experience resistance when something unfamiliar appeats. Hopefully the thunder shirt will help you feeling more comfortable. Let’s hope there aren’t too many thunder storms in your future till your thunder shirt is successfully completed…
