And for those of you who don’t have someone special in your lives, remember that love can be found in many places, if you just look for it.
I suppose technically I’m a single guy, but I have two very special ladies in my life whom I’m very grateful for. I’d buy them flowers today, but then I’d have to eat them, and most of them aren’t very good for my digestive system.

Dear Mr. Oxbow, Thank you for those lovely thoughts on Valentine’s Day. You don’t hafta go out and buy anything for your mamas. Your loving presence in their lives is love itself. Think of all the joy, all the adventure and all of the mystery you have brought to your mamas over the years. You have also proffered creative energy with your pithy observations and loving comments on your blog. Your mamas are a gift to you and you, my dear Mr. Oxbow, are a gift to them. Enuf said.
